To fill a need for youth mentoring programs in the area, Larimer County Partners was established in 1978 through the effort of the Mayor's office, Eighth Judicial District Attorney, local businesses and concerned citizens. The goal was to provide one-to-one mentors for “at-risk” youth. In July 2010, we expanded our mentoring program to Weld County and Partners now has offices in Fort Collins, Greeley and Estes Park to better serve youth throughout northern Colorado. Partners Mentoring Youth employs individuals who are dedicated to youth and understand the value of youth mentoring programs to the community. All staff members understand the factors that put youth at risk and work to continue matching positive adult role models with youth facing those challenges.
