Youth Served

Partners serves boys and girls, ages 7-17, who face significant challenges during their childhood. Such challenges may include low socioeconomic status, single-parent households, a history of abuse and a variety of others. These youth are great kids with a lot of potential to succeed in life, but need extra support due to circumstances often out of their control. The youth, with the full support of their guardian, voluntarily participate in the program. They are all referred to Partners by professionals in the community who work with youth and families – often in a counseling role – such as school counselors, private therapists and representatives from other human service agencies.

We encourage parents and guardians who would like their child referred to Partners to contact a potential referral agent involved in their child’s life and ask them if they believe that Partners Mentoring Youth would be a good fit for their child.  Partners is always happy to visit with parents, answering questions and suggesting appropriate professionals to make a referral. For more information on getting a child referred to the program, contact Tami Roskamp, Program Manager at 970-484-7123.
