We serve boys and girls, ages 7-17, who face significant challenges during their childhood. Such challenges may include low socioeconomic status, single-parent households, a history of abuse, and a variety of others. These youth are great kids with a lot of potential to succeed in life, but need extra support due to circumstances often out of their control. The youth, with the full support of their guardian, voluntarily participate in the program. They are all referred to Partners by professionals in the community who work with youth and families – often in a counseling role – such as school counselors, private therapists, other human service agencies, etc
