Special Events

Special Event Planning Committees:
Partners has four special events throughout the year (Sharin' O' the Green 5K, Party for Partners, the SuperStars Sports Challenge, and Running of the Bulls 3.75 Mile Run/Walk).  These events help raise critical funds to support our mentoring programs.  Each has its own committee that starts meeting approximatley six to eight months out and helps to identify and arrange vendors, recruit volunteers, manage ticket sales/event registration, collect auction items, market the events and also manage the event the day-of.  For information on each event click on the individual event name above.  To get involved or for additional questions contact Chris Imsland.

Day-of Event Volunteers
These volunteers play and important role on the day of each event.  Roles vary depending on the event but typically include helping with set-up/break-down, registration/check-in, food service, course marshals or event referees. Sound like fun?  Contact Chris Imsland for more information.

Marketing Committee
This Board committee's goal is to help create awareness of Partners and the work we do in our local communities.  They help develop and implement our marketing strategy with the intent of attracting new Senior Partners, Activity Volunteers, and businesses partners.  For more details please e-mail Chris Imsland.

Corporate Relations Committee
The goal of this Board-led volunteer group is to  help identify and approach new businesses interested in getting involved with Partners.  Involvement can come in a number of different capacities to include volunteering, financial support, or in-kind support.  To learn more please e-mail Chris Imsland.
